| Well, Fall is finally here and we have a much needed weekend off. Have been so busy this year, a dozen dates since our last posting..... Just completed a Katrina Benefit in McAllen Texas, which was great. Thanks to all who supported this important and monumental cause....Las Vegas before that, doing a really nice show at the Hard Rock, featuring us and our good friends Jack Blades and Michael Lardie from Night Ranger (with a surprise jam with our old buddy Kevin Dubrow from Quiet Riot, who literally blew us all away with a shot of gasoline and some bombastic vocals!). Wait! Two nights before that, Vegas again at the Alladin! What a great venue and incredible hosts....Many West Coast gigs this year. Looking forward to two more with coming up with Bakersfield and Holister.
So, with Trinidad in October with Richard Marks and Epcot after that, Rico is going to have some serious separation anxiety (If he could just keep separate from the pets, pillows, couch and certain unsuspecting guests it would be better for everyone). But ya know, everyone seems to love the guy. By the way, He just got his green card (thanks to Uncle Sal down at Immigration). The Summer has been crazy! We've been traveling nonstop and doing many great gigs around the country as well as a few in Canada and elsewhere. Touring is so hectic and nuts that to experience all the hospitality of the venues and the great feedback and support of the fans and audiences makes all the difference in the world..... We will be more regular with our diary section for our regular readers, as it sure beats reality TV and other excesses and abuses! (next up we will discuss more high-fiber alternatives for food on the road as well as the many different variations of road kill we've seen on the many many miles we have recently traveled!)....but seriously, just wanted to thank once again all our fans and friends for the great shows and the many positive and great emails and posts on our guest book. We have continued to update our concert schedule regularly as this is a vital part of our site for fans and friends, and if there's a local gig or something in your area that's not posted, chances are it's just not officially booked yet.
